Manually Uploading Data

Most of the time, data are collected and uploaded automatically using a script. However, there might be times when you want to upload data manually.
To Manually Upload Data:
Login to VSI. Note that only users with the Local Admin permission are allowed to upload. Normal users will not see the menu options for managing uploads.
Click the gear in the top toolbar. Click Manage Uploads.
The upload screen appears. Select the device type from the list of supported devices for the upload. This is important. If you need to upload data for several different kinds of systems, you need to remember to change the device type, otherwise processing the data won’t be successful.
With the device type selected, drag and drop up to 20 files to the upload window.
Keep the Manage Uploads screen up until all the uploads are complete.
Once you upload, we have a lot of math to do. It may take up to 20 minutes before your data are processed and available to view in VSI.
Size Limits
The maximum size for a single upload is 15GB.
